About Emma Furr
I have always been interested in the healing process and it was after the birth of my second daughter that I decided to follow my intuition.
I now have a third daughter, Anika, who was born naturally after 2 previous caesareans on April 9th 2005. I received my Maternity reflexology certificate 1 week before she was born and I am sure the reflexology I had made a big difference in making my pregnancy and birth problem free.
I have now been working as a therapist in the South West London area for ten years and specialize in Maternity Reflexology, offering pre-conception, ante-natal and post-natal care for mothers and their babies, which I am passionate about.
I also offer Indian Head Massage, Usui Reiki, Hopi Ear Candling and tailor made beauty treatments. I am always adding to my skills to offer the most up-to-date service to my clients and have experience with many different conditions.
I believe I have found my dharma. Helping people to heal themselves brings me great joy.
We all know you should look after yourself health-wise. I consider reflexology to be preventative medicine.
Just like we need a good night's sleep to keep us young and functioning at our optimum capacity, we also need a reflexology treatment every now and then.
Even though I am a practitioner of Reflexology, I book myself in for a treatment whenever I feel I need it, which is on a regular basis.
If I am feeling tired or out of kilter, I know its time for a treatment.
As my eldest daughter, Colette said at the age of eight, when I was giving her a reflexology treatment:
'The feet are the guests of honour' :)
